Hey All,

So for New Year's resolution 2007 I decided to run a marathon. I started training in Feruary and stuck to my running schedule all year. Even at Libertycon I slipped out Saturday morning and ran about 6 miles. Then mileage started to build up, Big Time. Sometime around October I started running 20 mile runs on the weekend, sheewww! I kept thinking, 4.5 hours, I could do it. Realistically, I calculated I'd run a 4:53 sometime in mid November. But, but, but, Oprah ran a 4:29, I'm in waay better shape than her, right? I wasn't racing Opray damnit, had to keep putting that through my head.

It's starting into my usual busy season, so I forgot to mention this - thankfully, Jason sent me a reminder ping today:

"Snippets are currently being distributed in Doc's Inn over at Baen's Bar (registration required). They will be posted twice weekly."

The infamous Joe Buckley is also aggregating them at his Collected Driblets of Baen site.

Manxome Foe is now available as an eARC from Webscriptions.

I've received several requests as to when the Manxome Foe eARC will be available. The answer is that I don't know. Toni Weisskopf, the publisher, has announced that there is one planned, but she didn't give a date. I'll post that info when I get it.

In the meantime, Joe Buckley, as usual, has been collecting snippets on his site.

Doc is scheduled to MC at Con*Stellation XXVI in Huntsville, AL, October 12-14.
